After meeting every month prior to the reunion and every other week in the last 2 months before the main event, the organizers group have continued to meet up to work on the directory and the documents processing for the donation to our alma mater. To sustain the camaraderie amongst us, we decided to hold a Mid-Autumn Festival Party otherwise known as "Pua Tiong Chiu" amongst ourselves. However some batchmates upon hearing of the plan - signal their interest to join as well. Despite the fact that we were pressed for time, we were glad that we ended up with more people than we have expected. The total participants is more than 40. We however asked to be excused for not being able to coordinate a more thorough notice to the whole batch due to last minute planning.
We met up at the Crocodile Grill in Makati. Despite heavy rains and heavy traffic. I took some group pix but I was so palpak because my film ran out even before the game started. That means I was not able to take any pix of the buffet spread to let Carol Ong and Nancy Uy drool over in the US. I was not able to take pix of the prizes and the action :( ... di bale next year na lang !
We had planned on dividing the group into 2
hence we have prepared 2 sets but ended up playing together just one BIG
round with the 2 sets of prizes joined together. With a stroke of last
minute luck,
Stanley Sy won the top prize of P4800 in the final round -
to think that he won nothing else
